Fall is here!

It's been a fun filled week here. The colors are changing with the season, we got out apple picking, and Acadia started walking!


We picked up this collapsable tunnel from Ikea a few weeks back. Acadia loves it. She sits inside of it just waiting for Scott or me to open it up.




She also loves her horse. This was Scott's when he was little and it's pretty cute to see Acadia riding it around the house.




This was another toy of Scott's. On any given day you can find a random mix of things that Acadia has filled the cart with. Lately it's been toys, diapers, her shoes, some K-cups and our own groceries.






We couldn't have asked for better weather for apple picking...

Acadia loved being outside and while I'm sure she enjoyed apple picking I think she would do anything as long as she was in her backpack. She can stay is it forever!

Catch up

It feels like it's been forever since I've posted anything on here. We've been busy keeping up with Acadia and trying to get out and enjoy the weather while it's still nice out. Here's some of our latest adventures...

The Birthday Bash

Acadia's first Birthday was a huge success! From catching up with family and friends, to the food, to the beautiful weather, we couldn't have asked for a better day.

It was a fun filled day and Acadia was pooped by the time she got home. I don't know if we'll be able to top it next year, but our girl had a great first birthday that we'll all remember.

A year in review

I can't believe it, but in just a few short days, our little girl will be 1. How did this happen...and so quickly?

To climbing all over everything...and I swear she's going to start walking any day now...




I can only imagine what the next year will bring. We're having so much fun though I can't wait to see what's in store for us!

I love summer!

Is it really August? This summer is flying by so we're taking the time to get out as much as possible. Acadia seems to be enjoying it!

Perfect Weekend

My cousin Michelle and her husband Jack came and visited last weekend. We had such a great weekend eating and drinking and of course laughing!
