Summer Vacation

It feels like we just got back from being away but somehow it was weeks ago!  From Milwaukee to Orland Park, Paw Paw Lake to Roselle, Madison and then to the North Woods we sure were on a whirlwind tour.  Everyone had fun and everyone came home tired!  I think that's the sign of a good trip!

Finally

It's been over 3 1/2 years in the making, but Acadia finally let me put pigtails in her hair! 

Rylan's first haircut

I finally took Rylan to get a real haircut.  I've cut his hair a couple of times, but he was definitely in need of professional help.  It was getting a little long in the back and I didn't think he would sit still for me.  While I'm glad I did it, I do miss the longer hair and younger look.  Now he really looks like  a big boy!

It amazes me how big both Acadia and Rylan have gotten.  Especially lately.  They run. They climb.  They don't sit still for anything.  I keep telling myself they're keeping me young, but the gray hairs keep popping up! 

What we've been up to

Everytime I check the blog I can't believe how long it's been since my last post.  Life is just busy and the endless pile of laundry always seems to win our over posting pictures.  Here's some recent ones of the fun we've been having.
