25 weeks

I've had some requests from friends and family to post an updated picture to see how cute (ok, big) I'm getting. This pic was taken 4 days ago and I think I'm already bigger. This baby is growing quickly!

Calling all moms

So Scott and I headed to Babies R Us this past weekend to start our registry. Can you say overwhelmed! We plan to do this in phases since you can only spend so much time in that store without losing it or becoming completely confused.

So I'm wondering...does anyone have suggestions for what to get that's good, what's not so good and what's just plain a waste?

Any suggestions are welcome!!

Boston Marathon

It's been a dream of Scott's to run the Boston Marathon and this past Monday he did just that!

Probably helped that he had such a good cheering section!

While Scott might be moving a little slower this week, he's really feeling good. I think I was more tired than he was after the race! Way to go Scott!!

20 weeks and counting

As of Friday I'm now halfway along in my pregnancy. I really don't know how that's happened. I feel like the past few months have just flown by. But here's an update of me and the baby.

I went to the doctor this week and we're both doing well. Scott and I can't wait to see what the next 20 weeks bring!

Easter Vacation

Scott and I spent the holiday weekend in Sunny California. While it took a while to get there (a 6 hour flight!) it was well worth it!

We had 3 solid days at the beach...

Caught up with friends...

Made some new ones...

And just relaxed and enjoyed the scenery.

Introducing...

The Bump

I swear from week 1-14 you couldn't even tell I was pregnant. I could tell, especially when I had to use a rubber band to hold my pants together, but to a stranger I just looked normal.

Then something happened. Around week 15 nothing fit. My stomach started getting rounder, and bigger, and there was no holding it in. I officially looked pregnant. And might I add, I LOVE IT!

Scott's just amazed at how quickly my belly has changed. I have to admit, I am too. I know I still have lots of growing to do, but it's fun to see my body change for something as special as this!
