What is it...

About being pregnant that makes everyone think they can say or do whatever they feel around you?

I've had comments from homeless people, congratulating me on having a boy. (No this has not been confirmed by the doctor.)

I've had clients not only touch, but continuously rub my belly.

And today I got, "Are you sure there's only one in there? You're just so big!" I'm sorry...I'm only growing another human being in here!!! And it's all in my belly!

If anyone has some good comebacks to these, I'm all ears!

Regarding the "are you sure you are only having one" I always wanted to say, I was thinking the same thing about you!" Oh wait, you're not pregnant? Home stretch my dear! Hang in there!

I always felt like saying,"This is not a budda - it won't necessarily bring you good luck if you keep rubbing it"...And let me know if you get the "Wow! You look like you're going to Pop any minute" I always wanted to say - "Yeah hopefully it won't be on your shoes:)"
Can't wait to hear more about your home stretch!!

I had some free time at work today ;) That is too funny about the homeless people's comments.

I guess pregnant women just attract all the loonies!
Well look at the bright side...at least they're saying these things while you're still pregnant - I had boy ask me when I was due about 4 months after having Allison!

I feel your pain! I even had a friend tell me, "I am starting to be able to tell in your butt." The only comeback that I could think of was to tell her she was a bitch.
Good luck, and we can;t wait!

I don't have any suggestions; however I remember my Mom telling someone in our family that people thought she was carrying twins when she was pregnant with Scott. Congratulations on your beautiful home. :)
